What is the best investment in 2024?
Beginning of a new year is linked with new goals, ambitions and expectations. In the economic field many people probably hope that the inflation finally drops, the major economies do not fall into recession, unemployment rate remains low and the purchasing power increases.
What is the best investment in 2024?
The traditional way to grow your asset is through investment. An investor has multiple choices, such as:
- Savings accounts and bonds
- Stock market
- Precious metals (gold, silver etc)
- Cryptocurrencies
- Real estates
The above list is certainly not complete – it only provides some of the most popular options. But which one is the best in these days? Where is the largest potential and smallest risk? This is a legitime question. Do the classical methods still work in the volatile and nervous markets?
Well, I must honestly say that I can’t tell you a “secret” about the best investment in this year or the near future. it is the decision and responsibility of each investor. You shall be aware that there are some risks. How much you want to risk is certainly one of the factors. Another one is the investment period. Other point is the consequence if your asset loses significant portion of its original value etc.
Invest into your know-how and skills
Despite my previous comment there is still one area that I really recommend as investment with large potential:
Invest into your education, boost your know-how, develop new skills.
Most investment instruments trade gain for risk. If you want to reach higher gains you typically need to accept higher risk. However, investing into your know-how unlocks large potential with very little risk. Moreover, your don’t need large capital to start. Of course, you need to be a bit careful. There might be expensive courses with questionable content. As the proverb says: “Exception proves the rule.”
Why is investment into your know-how and skills so attractive?
There are couple of reasons that make this kind of investment especially attractive. Some drivers come from the changes in the society. Since many years there is a lack of good engineers. Moreover, most developed countries face the issue of aging of the population resulting in reduced workforce. Also, the technology develops so regardless of your academic degree it is always a good idea to get a specific training and learn new things and trends in a specific field. As mentioned, most training courses do not require huge investment and are affordable to almost anyone. Very often, you can absolve them at your own pace adjusted to your current life situation. Finally, the impact of the training course can be long lasting (being not so humble we would say that it can potentially change your life).
Learn about electric drive systems
Our website is dedicated to variable frequency drives (VFD) and drive systems. Thus, it does not surprise that also our articles, trainings and webinars focus on power electronic converters, motor drives and associated topics: other drive system components, studies, good engineering practices etc.
We have something for (almost) everyone
Each person is individual. That is true also when thinking about education and methods to study. To anyone interested in learning more about variable frequency drive systems we offer several options to choose from:
- Technical articles – They are similar like our blog posts but go deeper and provide more detailed and comprehensive information. You can choose between premium subscription (receiving regularly new technical articles) or purchase some of our publications
- Webinars – For those who prefer learning in a more interactive way. We offer live webinars in small groups so that you can ask your questions directly and get an individual approach.
- Customized drive trainings – Our services sound interesting but you did not find exactly what you need? We can provide trainings tailor made to your specific needs.
Know Your Drive System
From the portfolio of webinars I would like to point out our most popular training course: Know your drive system (KYDS). This series consists of 5 lessons. In each lesson you will learn about one drive system component:
- Converter transformer
- Variable frequency drive
- Electric motor
- Cooling system
- Harmonic filter
Each lesson takes approx. 1.5 – 2 hours. It is a unique blend of theoretical information, illustrative examples and good engineering practice. More about KYDS: article, brochure
New courses will be launched very soon. Contact us in case of your interest.
Who are our clients?
Our educational program is open for anyone interested in the specific topic. Basic technical knowledge is expected as pre-condition. Our clients are both individuals as well as enterprises. The satisfaction level is very high.
I wish you a happy and prosperous year 2024. May you reach your personal and professional goals. If you are interested in VFDs and drive systems, stay tuned to our website. And if you select one of our services, let’s talk soon 🙂
